Our experience with Kirkland Photography and Design Inc. was the best! They changed it from something we were a little nervous about, and made it fun. Mark knew just how to bring out the best expression from our wide range of personalities and even the dogs. They took lots of shots for us to consider, but we never felt rushed. And then to see the results – wow! – It taught us the difference between real photography and just taking snapshots. Mark's team was a wizard in touching up the shots to put the emphasis where we needed it and to eliminate any distractions. When it came time to select the finished products, we didn’t feel pressured into over-buying, we just were given options to pick from, to keep the cost affordable for the prints that we wanted. When we told the girls (ages 14 & 15) that we were going to have our pictures taken for a Christmas card, they were less than enthusiastic. However we all agreed it was time for a family photograph. I leafed through the yellow pages in the Tri Lakes Directory. After getting a couple of answering machines, I tried Mark Kirkland Photography. Mark answered and I felt good about the personal attention he gave and so I made an appointment.

The kids came to the session with some reluctance. All that changed after a few minutes with Mark. He had them relaxed, laughing and having a great time before we knew it. I never use the word "awesome," but that is the best word I know to describe the many beautiful pictures he took of the girls and the family. He was able to bring out their beauty and their love for each other. He even was able to help make us tired old parents look good. We were able to have a family portrait on the front of the card, a photo of the girls on the inside cover, a wonderful Christmas message and on the back a picture of the girls relaxed, happy and hugging each other. Everyone comments about this amazing card, saying they have never seen another one like it.

Good Morning Mark, Julianna had her audition on Sunday and it went very well. It was with Walnut Hill Performing Arts School, outside of Boston. She was one of 18 girls that day. During center work she noticed they had her photos in hand and when ever she did a move back to the photos they would look. After the audition she was given a full scholarship for the summer program! Normally you wait 30 to 60 days for the results. They wanted her right then and there. The school is one of the best in the country and only 20 dancers are picked from here and abroad. Quite an honor indeed. So we thank you so much again for the wonderful work you did. After peeking at the other photos the girls brought, Julianna's was the only one with professional work and it paid off.
